Full-service hotels where a gaming floor is one feature among restaurants, spas and stages.
These are casino hotels, and they are described here the way any hotel would be: rooms, setting, food and what there is to do beyond the room.
Each property also has a gaming floor. Entry rules, age limits and opening hours are set by the hotel and local law, so check them directly before planning around it.
Entry 1
Montreal Casino & Hotel
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Island first. The property sits on Île Notre-Dame in the St. Lawrence River, inside the parkland created for the 1967 World's Fair.
Its main buildings began life as Expo 67 pavilions, and the curved glass and steel still show it. Guests come for the restaurants, the bars and the river views over the city skyline. A gaming floor fills part of the complex. Bike paths and the old Olympic rowing basin are close by.

Fallsview Casino Resort
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Look out of the right window and the Horseshoe Falls are right there. The hotel tower stands above the gorge on the Canadian side, and many rooms face the water.
Below the rooms are a spa, a shopping galleria, a large theatre for concerts and shows, and a long list of restaurants. The gaming floor is one part of a very large building. Clifton Hill and the river paths are a short walk downhill.

River Rock Casino Resort
Richmond, British Columbia, Canada
Close to the airport, on the bank of the Fraser River. A Canada Line station sits beside the hotel, so downtown Vancouver is an easy train ride away.
Rooms and suites fill a hotel tower with views across the river. There is an indoor pool, a theatre that hosts touring acts, and a choice of restaurants. The gaming floor occupies its own level of the complex.

Casino Rama Resort
Rama, Ontario, Canada
Lake country, about two hours north of Toronto. The resort stands on the lands of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, between Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching.
Its hotel tower has rooms and suites, a spa and several restaurants. An entertainment centre brings concerts and comedy through the year. The gaming floor is part of the complex, and the surrounding lakes and Orillia's waterfront offer a quieter side to a stay.
