What this is
NBA Headquarters is a small, independent list of hotels. It covers four kinds only: art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels. Eleven properties appear across the four pages.
Each one is here because its category is central to the stay. An art hotel should be shaped by art. A capsule hotel should actually rent pods. A casino hotel should work as a hotel in its own right. The ice hotel should be built from ice.
How entries are written
Descriptions are plain prose about setting and character. We leave out prices, star ratings, scores and guest quotes, because those change quickly and are better read at the source.
Hotels do not pay to appear, and there are no affiliate links. If a hotel closes, changes name or stops fitting its category, it comes off the list.
What it is not
We are not a travel agent and do not handle reservations. To stay at any hotel listed here, contact the hotel directly or use a booking service you trust.
